LOL MICROSOFT

I tried building it and it began to boot, so my antivirus software zapped it. Is this normal?

Geez…. this one is old. I first saw this when win95 launched.

Very good idd. :)

But I contest, Google and Vista bum each other. Well, if you buy Dell they do.

April 11th, 2008 @6:48 pm

To Wong Bater: I think BSOD() is declared in win95.h and overloaded in win98.h :)

To everybody: I didn’t wrote this. Just got it from a friend by email and posted it here because it amused me. If I would have written it you would have also seen something like:

if( SoundsAndAudioDevicesWindow.isOpen() ) {
FreezeWindow(ALL_WINDOWS);
MouseEnabled(FALSE);
KeyboardEnabled(rand(0,1));
}

My C++ is rusty so don’t pick on me if it doesn’t compile :)

heres some linux code for you

boot (minimum 5 minutes)
on install; load useless half ass apps= 1
hardware support =0
allow play of (real) games = 0

OMG, how did you get your hands on the code?!

That was pretty creative and entertaining.

Clever, but I have never had Vista crash or lock up in the 5 months I’ve had it. I don’t even know if it has a blue screen. With a 2.0 ghz dual core (Intel) and 3 gb ram , it is faster and more stable than not only XP, but Kubuntu as well. Still wish they hadn’t made file browsing a nightmare (no folder up button anymore).

They don’t have a folder up button but I think you can click a folder name to go back to that folder.

Microsoft was copyrighted WAAAAAAY before 1995, maybe as early as 1985. Windows 95 isn’t the earliest, at all. There are versions 1 through version 3.11 before 95.

@dwindle: yes there is, it’s on the right side of the nav bar for some ungodly reason.

It might be overused but it pretty much explains how Microsoft writes their code.
It is kind of funny
thisisold thought he was clever in his amazing linux source
however a clean install of windows XP has 15 to 20 programs booting and Vista has more and most of them do useless things to stop piracy or send feedback. And by the way Cedega will run DirectX10 and it only costs around 5 bucks a month if you can add that is still 40 dollars less then when XP’s prices bottomed out.

Dwindle
Vista is in no way more stable then Ubuntu or XP. A lot of hardware vendors don’t even support Vista yet. Hell, most Vista programs have trouble supporting Vista. You not having any trouble with it means you mainly E-Mail and use Microsoft Office. There really isn’t any reason to pick Microsoft over Linux except you have to be literate and able to follow directions. It is easier to use Microsoft only because it doesn’t matter if you follow instructions it does whatever it wants to.

You forgot one piece of code:
#include solitaire.h;
if (DETECT_WIRED_NETWORK = true)
Turn_Off_Monitor;
Kill_Users_Girlfriend;
Revoke_Activation = True;
if (Revoke_Activation = true)
Irritate_User_Until_Suicide;
Demand_Payment_From_Family;
if (DETECT_WIRED_NETWORK = false) || (Revoke_Activation = false)
Plant_Cocaine_In_Users_Car;
Notify(Police);
Del(/system32);
if (err = 0)
Rand_Driver_Update;
Rand_Driver_Error;
Rand_Anthrax_Burst_From_Power_Supply;
Rand_Death
